Community Matters!

We seek to serve our community here in McKeesport and around the world by proclaiming the love of God through word and deed. We do this in worship and by creating programs for children and youth, serving free breakfasts several times a year and inviting groups to use our building. We provide over $125,000 in goods and services to the community each year.

PROGRAMS AT MPC:

KIDS CLUB
Our Kids Club meets the first Sunday of each month and offers lunch, crafts, arts, and fun in a God-centered environment. We seek to explore our God given creativity and get to know each other better.
YAKKs
Young Adult Koffee and Konversation is a gather of people in their 20s and 30s who want to explore how faith intersects with life--on the job, in relationships and in the community. Join us for a lively discussion the last Wednesday of each month @ 7PM.
VIP Ventures in People
McKeesport Presbyterian Church offers the only free after school program for elementary school students. Here students can do homework, play games, and socialize with loving adult supervision.
YOUTH GROUP
Our youth group meets the second and last Saturday of each month at 6:30 pm. Young adult leaders encourage teens to explore and deepen their faith with engaging games and activities.
MCKEESPORT NEIGHBORHOOD GROUP
The McKeesport neighborhood community group meets in fellowship hall to discuss the revitalization of its neighborhood. The church participates by offering meals on clean up days as well as community activities like a trunk n treat at Halloween and Christmas light up night. We week to be a faithful neighbor for all of those in the surrounding community.
HEAD START
McKeesport Presbyterian Church hosts two Head Start classes in our facility. It is a joy to have the children in our building each day. For more information on the Head Start program click here.
OTHER COMMUNITY INVOLVMENT
McKeesport Presbyterian Church is also the site for weekly meetings of Narcotics Anonymous. We proudly host the Valley Voices choir and open our facilities to other groups who need a safe space.
